Over the last 3 weeks, Dylan started taking more and more steps each day but his gait was very awkward and he would typically take one step with his left foot and slide his right foot up to meet it. It looked like a funny two-step dance. Then I got him some Stride Rite shoes with "SRT"... I think that stands for "Sensory Retention Technology." They are specifically designed for babies learning to walk. As soon as I put the first pair on him, he immediately assumed better posture and his walking showed instant improvement. Earlier this week at daycare, he walked all the way down the hall from his classroom to Evan's class, then walked in the door and helped himself to some big kid toys.
