CRAWLING!

Dylan has been on the verge of crawling for over a month now, but on Friday night, he finally did it! My parents are visiting, and we were all hanging out in Evan's room. Evan dropped some bright, shiny Mardi Gras beads on the floor a couple of feet away from Dylan and he saw them and just decided to go get them. And now the trouble begins...

The Art of Sleep, Dylan-Style

When Dylan decides he's tired, he goes to sleep - immediately - regardless of what he happens to be doing at the time. I really wish I could learn to fall asleep so easily!

9 Month Stats

Hard to believe that Dylan is now 9 months old. Before we know it, he'll be smashing into that first piece of birthday cake! He had his 9-month checkup and vaccinations last week and he now weighs 21.5 lbs. and is 28 and 1/2 inches tall. Because Dylan has a short, stocky build so far, everyone thinks of him as a "huge" baby. However, he's only in the 64th percentile for weight . I looked back at Evan's stats at 9 months old and he weighed 22.4 lbs. and was 29 and 1/2 inches tall, so he was actually the bigger baby! Here are a couple of comparison pix:
