Scowls, Frowns, and Tears

Dylan is generally a very happy and animated baby, but his temper can flare up very quickly when he isn't getting something he wants. He can also turn on the tears so fast it will make your head spin. He does look awfully cute in his pouty state, though.

18 Months Old!

Dylan turned 18 Months on March 5th. He has had so many new developments lately that it's hard to keep up with them all. He knows the names of all of his favorite Sesame Street characters and has some really cute pronunciations of some of the names: Cookie Monster is "Coo Coo," Big Bird is "Bee Bo," Grover is "Go Vah" and Ernie is just "E!" He calls his brother "Ev-ay" and shouts it out really loudly to him when they see each other on the daycare playground. He can tell you what all of the following animals "say" (i.e. the sounds that they make): a cow, a dog, a cat, a sheep, a monkey, a lion and an elephant. When he hears an airplane sound, he makes the sign for airplane and shouts "air pay!" We are having a lot of fun with him right now!

Singing

Here's a little snippet of Dylan singing his two favorite songs, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (or in his case, "Cackle, Cackle Da Da Da") and "Jingle Bells."

Master Stacker

I noticed just before Christmas that Dylan really enjoyed stacking objects at daycare. Therefore, he got several stack-able toys for Christmas. However, his favorite items to stack are my Tupperware containers, and now cat food cans. Here he is making some impressive towers despite Evan's best efforts at interference.
